Cardinal’s Nest

Please make sure to arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment to allow adequate time for checking children into Cardinal’s Nest. Families will be escorted to Cardinal’s Nest and introduced to our team who will be supervising play time. Shoes must be removed before entry. Children will not be allowed to be anywhere in the office except for the Cardinal’s Nest room. Make sure that children are freshly diapered and have had a bathroom break, as Cardinal Dental staff will not be able to change diapers or accommodate trips to the restroom. Parents will be alerted if the child needs a bathroom break, and will be asked to leave their appointment and take their child to the restroom. We will provide toys and activities for the children, so please do not bring your own toys to Cardinal’s Nest. No food or drink is allowed in Cardinal’s Nest, and our staff will not give medications. Sick children will not be allowed, so please give appropriate notice if you must cancel your appointment due to illness. Children will only be released to the person who checked them in Cardinal’s Nest. No exceptions will be made. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and the parent will be notified immediately. Parents of inconsolable children will be called back to Cardinal’s Nest and the dental appointment will be cancelled for that day. Cardinal Dental reserves the right to cancel a Cardinal’s Nest appointment. Children will not be allowed in the dental operatory.
